Monalisa Weber host of Probation Station on Excitement Radio every Tuesday from 6pm to 7pm est, joins Dr Roosevelt Mitchell III to discuss the killing of Miami teenager, Elord Revolte, was arrested in August and four days later was beaten to death by more than 20 other incarcerated teens. As noted by Dr Mitchell:
In the aftermath five Miami jail officers were fired ( including supervisors) for falsifying reports and bribing the teens to beat each other for payback and entertainment. The officers used $1 honey buns and other snacks as the payment for the bribes. A Miami assistant public defender stated “the kids are incarcerated so in there a honey bun is like a million dollars.” Since the death of Elord Revolte people from all across the state, including kids, parents, community leaders and even public defenders, are confirming that guards use honey buns and snacks to enforce violence inside the jails.
