I’ve recently learned that lots of Hip-Hop artists are giving back the community and I found this great website dedicated to just that called “Hip-Hop Gives Back”.

Akon aims to provide electricity to 600 million Africans – read more about it
Snoop Dogg and many other celebrities partnered up for the”#ImUnloading” campaign to raise awareness and take action against 401K plans that invest in the gun industry. Watch the video here:
There are lots of positive things going on in Hip-Hop. I’m curious as to why we haven’t heard more about these positive things in the media?
