Who Is Suess

Randolph Blake, also known as Suess, an emerging Independent artist from Broward County Florida, with Panamanian roots. He has been writing and performing for more than 12 years. His stage name Suess was inspired by but spelled differently, Dr. Seuss, a children’s book author clever way with words and rhymes. With a love for R&B music, he was inspired by Usher & Alicia Keys song “My Boo”. Suess decided he wanted to sing and recorded his vocals in a makeshift studio, and that’s when he realized he enjoyed harmonizing and rapping. In 2007, Suess released his first mixtape “Bout Dat Life ” on one of the largest independent artist platforms DatPiff, and this mixtape consists of rhyming over popular hip-hop instrumentals. His craft and tracklist began to grow releasing “Desire” in 2011, “Forward” in 2012, and “Jackin For Beats Volume One” on SoundCloud, another large music streaming platform. Suess’ most-streamed song “M4H” Murder for Hire, sparked the hunger of continuing as an independent artist and entertaining his fans.

In 2019 Suess released his first EP entitled “Winning Is a State of Mind” under his own publishing through BMI. This project was released on his mother’s birthday March 13th. Suess was very close with his mother who passed away from a terminal illness. This experience led him to creating and releasing his second project “B.O.L.O.” Be On The Look Out on August 19, 2020, two years to the date of his mother’s passing. Suess is currently in the process of starting his own record label “Lions Den Creative Collective”. Coming late spring, Suess will be releasing his next project entitled “Kings Culture” which will be available on every music streaming platform. Suess sees himself as a multi-millionaire five years from now if his music and personal business grow as intended
