JaMal Jackson (Jay Baby), although born in Rock Mount, NC, was raised in Fayetteville, NC, from a child. His musical gifts and skills stemmed from his heavy church influence and were developed throughout several choruses and choirs in North Carolina. Eventually, he began to develop a love for hip hop & R&B as well as the other genres.
He now travels the country as a singer, rapper, songwriter, and engineer. He has an extensive discography in both R&B and Hip Hop that has taken him farther than he could have imagined. But he never ascends to new heights without acknowledging the fact that his faith in God has gotten him where he is.
Jay Baby brings to the game a new spin on the foundational styles of music that rap and music culture were built upon, including wordplay, catchy melodies, and a flow that only Fayetteville could produce.
